Head Coach - Diamond Devotion 2031
My name is Jesse McLemore, 23 year old non parent coach born and raised in Pensacola, FL.
Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, it was my passion, my escape, my everything. But somewhere along the way, I lost the love and drive I had for playing the game. Then, out of the blue, I got the chance to step into a new role: coaching a softball team. Something I will forever be grateful for. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but that single opportunity changed everything. Coaching reignited my passion, not just for the sport, but for what it means to lead, mentor, and inspire. I’m filled with gratitude to be in this position, to be able to create and grow Diamond Devotion. Thankful for everyone who has and hasn’t believed in me.
Now, my goal is simple: to push every athlete of mine to the next level while helping them hold on to the joy and love for the game that makes it so special. I’m here to challenge, support, and cheer for every one of my past, present, and future players, not just as players but as people.
Thank you to everyone who has and who will trust in me to lead your daughters in this game and to be a part of their softball journey (even if I’m just a small part of it). To my present and future Diamond Devotion family I look forward to building something amazing together, one pitch, one at bat, and one game at a time.
Assistant Coach - Diamond Devotion 2031
My name is Madison Holland, and I am a 21-year-old assistant coach for Diamond Devotion.
I started playing softball when I was 7, and had the opportunity to play until my sophomore year of college. I graduated from Tate High School in 2021, where I spent all four years in the softball program. After high school, I played an additional two years at Coastal Alabama Community College.
After finishing my collegiate career, I decided to take my love for the game and transition into coaching. My goal is to share my experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way to help athletes grow—not just as players but as individuals. I am beyond thrilled to help guide these amazing athletes, and share my passion for the game.
I know this season will be filled with growth, hard work, and unforgettable moments. Here’s to teamwork, perseverance, and making memories that will last!
Assistant Coach - Diamond Devotion 2031
Hi, I’m Doug Scott. While I was not born and raised in Pensacola, FL, this is where I’ve spent most of my life. I was born to a military family and later went on to serve in the U.S Army myself. I grew up playing many sports to include, basketball, track, soccer and baseball. During my military career while overseas, I played travel basketball for an All Army team.
I am a devoted husband and father to five amazing children, ranging from ages 2-15, who have all found a love for sports of their own. I am a die hard Miami Hurricanes fan, “Go Canes”. I have coached and played softball for many years. I have experience playing all infield and outfield positions. I am looking forward to using my knowledge, passion, and love for sports to help mentor and encourage these incredible young athletes.

I believe in hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude. I hope to pass this along to all our players, Let’s Play Ball!
